Hi, I'm Karishma Gangwani, Ph.D.
Inspired by the spirit of a modern day Saraswati, the embodiment of learning, art, music, compassion, and creative intelligence, I design educational spaces where knowledge is not just transferred but awakened by means of integrative stories.
Through my work, I aim to transform education from a system of pressure and performance into a nurturing journey of self-awareness, emotional resilience, and social responsibility. Rooted in mindfulness, grounded in science, and enriched by art, culture and stories, my offerings invite learners and educators to rediscover the purpose of learning itself.
What I Offer
Inclusive, Empathy-Centered Education
I design learning experiences for all ages and abilities, with a strong focus on marginalized and neurodiverse communities. From classrooms to community centers, I create spaces that are culturally grounded, trauma-informed, and emotionally safe.
Bridging Ancient Wisdom and Modern Tools
My curriculum work and workshops blend the old and the new, Sanskrit and coding, storytelling and data visualization, Vedic logic and critical thinking. I help learners explore the roots of knowledge systems to understand the values they carry.
Mentorship That Builds Self-Awareness
As a mentor, I guide students and professionals not only in technical skills but in emotional literacy, purpose, and reflection. I invite learners to ask deeper questions: Who am I becoming through this knowledge? How does this serve the world around me?
Mindful Learning Spaces and Tools
I create contemplative educational environments where silence, music, play, and pause are treated as vital as performance. I help schools and teams design intentional time for deep work, stillness, and self-connection in their learning rhythms.
Technology with Soul
I teach mindful and ethical use of tools like AI and open-source platforms not as shortcuts, but as extensions of creativity and community. Technology is a support, not the center.
Wellbeing for Educators
I support teachers through professional development sessions focused on emotional sustainability, unlearning harmful pedagogies, and rekindling their joy. When teachers thrive, students bloom.
Community-Based Programs Rooted in Environment & Culture
I facilitate collaborative education projects that bring families, artists, scientists, and local leaders together, centering sustainability, storytelling, and heritage preservation.
